Requirements
- Experience in caregiving, home care, disability support, or senior care is an asset
- Ability to speak Urdu, Hindi, or Punjabi is a requirement.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Physically able to assist with mobility support
- Must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (reimbursed by employer)
- Reliable, patient, compassionate, and punctual
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Strong communication skills and cultural awareness

- WHMIS

Duties
- Assist clients with daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene)
- Support safe mobility and transfers
- Prepare simple and culturally familiar meals
- Provide companionship and social engagement
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying)
- Offer reminders for appointments and routines
- Complete simple care notes (training provided)
- Communicate respectfully with families and supervisors
- Assist with local transportation for errands/appointments (mileage reimbursed)

Compensation
- Starts at Alberta minimum wage during probation
- Performance-based wage increases after probation
